Straight and Smooth - LGRP weeks 36 & 37

General feeling

Various things going on and time is just flying this time things are not in any specific order because I have been either multitasking or to be brutally honest restlessly hopping between tasks. Some kind of "Oh it should be done soon jitters" I guess.

Anyway hopefully one of the next three posts will be telling you that these guitars are producing sweet sounds ;o)

Bridges & Saddles

It took some pondering and testing but finally

I got the saddle slots on the bridges straight, now pretty much the rounding and styling are only things missing apart of course the strings these babies shall be holding in place.

Ran the slots for the top saddles.

Headstocks

Got the back veneer, slots and tuner holes done for the exotic woods guitar headstock.

Shaped the ramps or slopes or whatever it is they are officially called. These make space for the strings in addition to the headstock slots so the strings won't rub against the wood or finish.

Necks and Heals

Shaping of the necks and adding the heals

A little todo for a snug fit still but getting there.
