Back into the Groove - LGRP week 34

Hello again! So summer break ended two and a half weeks ago. Let me tell you there's a good buzz at the Ikata department of luthiery with also the new folk starting out, looking forward to another great year!

Must have been a nice summer since me unlike many of my peers had pretty much forgotten where we left off after the first year of studies.

So I decided to start out with some safe things to get back into the groove.

Getting some grovers and saddle blanks

Neck shaping (almost got a little carried away)

More dove tail fitting...

...and it's getting there

Saddle shaping practice

And I have something a tiny bit unorthodox for the heals on my mind but I need to ponder on it still

Boy it feels good to be back on track!
