Vacation dawning - week 8 with LGRP

The week before vacation. Yes it sucks not to be able to do luthier stuff 24/7 next week but sometimes it's good people are forced to rest and explore other things ;)

Started the week with shaping and glueing the neck and bottom blocks.

Next step top kerfings. The kerfings for the bottom I only did today after shaping the sides to correct width and top and bottom radius shapes. Working with the sanding block is good physical practice, you could even say kind of like dancing :)

Also this week I made the back strips, dots, & fingerboard binding woods, liking the color schemes very much!

Last but not least reinforcement for the back seam. Spots for bracewood marked preliminarily.

Bonus... this weeks bonus spot goes to our second year students who are just priceless!
